Home made Key Fobs!

Did you see the GIVEAWAY I posted over the weekend? Check it out and enter to win here.
*****************

Last August, as I was expecting Baby Boy number 3, I was in need of a new car. There was no way I was going to fit 3 car seats into the back of my Pontiac Sunfire, having two in the back was already a struggle. So we made the move to a minivan. My search for a nice key chain, that was cute and the right color and theme started then. And it didn't end until Saturday, when I sat down and made my own.  I had seen a key chain on a craft blog a long time ago, and loved the idea, but at that point I wasn't ready to make my own. But, as I thought over simple  home made gift ideas, the homemade key chain kept coming back to me. I was all set to make my own tutorial.

I happened across The Idea Room in my quest for a Silhouette(which I did not win...boo) and one of the posts that was suggested to me was for a Homemade Fashionable Key Chain. I set to work and I LOVE the result! I have already gotten compliments on them! You can find the tutorial here.

I love how easy the process was, and how quickly they came together. The whole key chain can be made from scraps you already have, making them an ideal inexpensive and yet thoughtful gift. The only thing I changed was that instead of the fusible interfacing suggested, I used fusible fleece. I did this for two reasons, I had fusible fleece on hand and I wanted the little extra padding the fusible fleece adds.

Head over and check out the tutorial, you won't be disappointed!
